Chaperoned by his older brother, our little (never mind his sudden & ridiculous height) Mcabe is currently en route to NYC...where he booked a shoot w/ Patrick Demarchelier or click here.
Word is...this gig is a very BIG deal in the fashion/modeling world. He is supposedly doing a BIG campaign w/VERY BIG models...whatever that means??????????

Julie could not possibly know how much she touched my heart today. What an encouragement.

My husband Rocket and me (Julie) we so blessed to meet you and sit across from you at dinner! I was so inspired about your stories about your precious family. Thank you for sharing your faith with us. It is so refreshing to meet people outside of our daily routine and circle who have such great faith.
You take the most amazing photos! I have some of you and your sweetie I will post. I must warn you they are NOT professional! :) God bless you for sharing your faith and talents with our family! Julie

I just love capturing time and will never ever forget this precise moment.
I sensed something coming...raised my lens...and snapped.
Frozen.
In time.

Got the nicest surprise today. The doorbell rang and lo and behold...I was presented with the most spectacular flower display I have ever received. A thank you gift.
I love the people I take photos of. I swear....they stay with you forever.

I love that the art of photography captures time. When I see these images....I am transported back to the moment of each click. I remember precisely.
That's what got me to thinking a thought I don't think I've ever processed before.
Not only does photography capture time for the subject....but for the photographer as well...on a whole different level.
It's like I process photographic memories with an added layer of depth....one that cements time into my existence. Moments that would be long lost and forgotten are forever embedded into my being.
When I click...I am remembering.
There's my weird rambling thought for the day.
